Žuvintas bird observation tower - The tower is a great place to observe the birdlife and other animals of Lake Zuvintas from very close up. It is probably most interesting in mid-spring and autumn, but good observation conditions allow you to see animals almost all year round. Early morning is usually the best time for observation.
Žuvintas lake educational trail - This trail is designed to introduce you to the rich birdlife of the lake, its shores, and the main plant species. The trail winds along a boardwalk through reedbeds and ends at a bird observation tower. The trail is located in a nature reserve. Without a separate permit, it is only allowed to be visited from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The length of the trail is 410 m.
Žaltytis lake bird observation tower - The observation tower is designed to observe waterfowl gatherings in Lake Žaltytis. The tower has stands with information about the bird species that can be observed. The best time to observe birds is early spring and autumn.
Varnupiai mound and mythological stone (Padkavinis) - Varnupiai mound with an ancient settlement. In this territory between the Zuvintas and Amalva bogs, people lived already in the Stone Age. It is believed that it was built by human hands, a lot of wood was used. Archaeological finds attributed to the Yotvingian culture, dating back to the 1st millennium - 13th century, have been found on the territory of the mound. Varnupiai mound with an ancient settlement is the most significant and largest archaeological monument of the Zuvintas Biosphere Reserve. This place is loved by lovers of living history and archaeology of the region.
Amalvas swamp observation platform - In the village of Amalviskes, an expressive panorama opens up before your eyes: on the northwest side, the Amalva bog and lake. The stands provide information about the Amalva raised bog, the lake, protected natural values, and the village of Amalviskes. It is adapted for the disabled.
Amalvas swamp cognitive trail - The hiking trail invites visitors to look around the largest Amalva swamp in Suvalkija. The information on the stands introduces the history, fauna and flora of the swamp. At the beginning of the cognitive trail there is an observation platform, from which a wonderful panorama of the Amalva swamp and the landscape of the Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve open up.
